Kindergarten Round-Up is February 25th

If your child will be five years old on or before September 1, 2020. . . it's time for Kindergarten! Lakeview High School will host the February 25, 2020 Kindergarten Round-Up - an evening Parent Meeting to talk about enrollment and curriculum. 25th Annual CARE Parenting Conference

The conference, for parents with children of all ages, is a day to embrace being a parent and gaining new parenting tools. This event is open to the public and guests will have the option of choosing from more than 20 different workshop options to meet the interests of our diversified audience of parents and professionals. There are also more than thirty-five local exhibitors with resources for families. Fee. Tickets are priced at $30 prior to January 31 and then will increase to $40 on February 1.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Girls basketball tryouts will begin on January 21st after school. If you would like to tryout you MUST have your physical uploaded to the FAMILYID.com website before you participate. There will be a brief meeting the week before with more details (date & time to be determined).

Sports Physicals

To participate in sports/clubs during the 2019-2020 school year, all participants must register online before the first try-out or practice. Last year the LHS Athletic Department used a program called FamilyID for online sports registration for our families. We are excited to announce that this year JMS will also be using FamilyID for online sports registration. No more paperwork!!!! Please see attached flyer.

National Coney Island Night - Kids Against Hunger

The Optimist Club of St. Clair Shores is sponsoring a National Coney Island Night Fundraiser for Lakeview’s Junior Optimist Clubs on Wednesday, January 15, from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the Lakeview High School Cafeteria. All funds raised will go towards this year’s Kids Against Hunger Campaign. This is the 10th year that Lakeview’s Kindergarten – 12th grade students have been involved with the Kids Against Hunger campaign of providing 20,000 meals for local, national and global disaster relief.
