8th Grade Dance
8th Grade Farewell is coming up! The Dance is June 6 at Assumption Cultural Center from 6-9.
Dance Tickets will be sold before school from 7:15-7:55 am…..in front of the library…Enter through the bus loop doors. Little Mack entrance. May 21- May 24 and LAST DAY 5/28. If you have a student that is on the virtual school or attends LHS in the mornings, you must purchase your ticket directly from Mrs. Liolli that week during T2R or you must arrange to meet with her. You can contact her through the school email. [email protected]. No tickets will be sold after 3:00 pm Tuesday May 28.
- Tickets are $35 and you must be in good standing in order to purchase your ticket. We will take cash or check. Checks to be made out to JMS and in the memo please write 8th Grade Farewell Dance. This means all overdue books turned in and debts must be paid before buying. Students will not be able to participate in the 8th grade dance if, from the beginning of the school year through June 6th, they receive an accumulation of 10, or more, suspension days. This includes In-School Suspension and Out of School Suspension days.
- Students who have 2 or more F’s as of May 31st are not allowed to attend the 8th grade dance.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
***** YOU MUST HAVE YOUR school ID to purchase your ticket. If you do not have one please see the office to purchase a new one.
Dress Code
• Strapless/spaghetti straps are allowed
• No jeans
• Dress length must be appropriate! If you are not sure, ASK!!
• Dress/skirt slits no higher than the top of the knee
• No garters, exposed undergarments, sheer/see-through, or bare midriffs
• No baseball hats, bandanas, or chains
• No torn pants or pants with holes in them
• *****NO BAGS are allowed into the dance.
• ALL JMS code of conduct rules apply at the dance.
Attendance
You must be in attendance at school on June 6th through 3rd Hour/ end of Awards Ceremony at LHS in order to attend the dance. We will have a check out at LHS for parents wanting to pick up from there. Please make sure you have proper ID with you in order to pick up your child. Plan ahead and let your child know you will be taking them from LHS. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
