Hello Jefferson Middle School Patriots and Families,

I am very excited to serve as principal to the amazing students at Jefferson Middle School, as well as their parents/guardians and work toward building a strong partnership between parents and staff.  Together, we can work with your child to make the upcoming school year a great success.  I strongly believe in reinforcing positive behaviors and holding high expectations for the students.  It is my belief that every child can grow as a student and the JMS staff, and I are here to support your child through their educational journey.  I look forward to sharing many successes with you and your child this school year. 

Thanks to our community passing a recent bond issue, Jefferson Middle School has a newly built wing, courtyard, bus loop and parking lot.  This same bond issue enabled the district to purchase the new Promethean Boards for every classroom. These are some of the many things that allows for JMS to bring its following mission statement to life:

“Jefferson Middle School uses effective instructional strategies and an interactive, integrated curriculum so that all students meet or exceed course content expectations. We build partnerships with families and the community, and provide a network of support services that promote a safe, responsible, and respectful environment.”
