8th Grade Farewell Dance is coming up! June 9 at Barrister Gardens from 6-9.

** Dance Tickets will be sold online with EZPay on the JMS website. If your student is in good standing, you may purchase online from May 19 to May 26 ONLY!

***Tickets are $45, you must be in good standing in order to purchase your ticket.

**** NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

****If you have a question about being in good standing, ask an 8th-grade Advisory teacher the week before ticket sales. They will have a list, or ask the office.


***Tickets to the Dance will be hand-delivered to the student the week of the dance. They must have the ticket to get into the Dance.

📅 Date: Friday, June 7th
🕞 Time: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

📍 Location: Lakeview High School – Main Gym
(Follow signs posted at the athletic doors adjacent to the track)

💃 WHAT TO EXPECT
• Learn a short dance routine on the spot
• Perform it in a small group — no solos!
• We’re looking for energy, effort, and potential — not perfection

👚 WHAT TO WEAR
• Athletic or dancewear (fitted clothes help us see movement)
• Hair up and out of your face
• Jazz shoes or clean sneakers

🎒 WHAT TO BRING
• Water bottle
• Positive attitude
• Confidence and team spirit!

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just curious, we welcome all skill levels to come try out. The Huskettes are all about growth, fun, and school pride!

6th Graders will attend Camp Copneconic and will be transported by Peferred Charters. Students will depart for camp from JMS on 10/27/25 at 9:00AM and return to JMS on 10/29/25 at 2:00PM. The cost for camp is $255.00 per student. Due to limited space, the first 200 students to return this form with the required deposit of $100.00, will be admitted to attend. Please scan the QR code below for all camp payments. Final payments for camp will be due on Friday, October 17, 2025. Refunds will only be given with administrative approval.

JMS Track:
Thank you to everyone who participated in our JMS Track season. It was a great year for both our Boys and Girls teams. Anyone who has not yet turned in or paid for their shirt please see Mr. Elliott in room 115 by Thursday 5/22 or you will be billed for the equipment.

Wednesday, May 21st:
6th Grade Finals @ Warren Woods Tower

Dear Parents and Students,
The robotics team is looking for current 5th and 6th-grade students who are interested in joining the team for the 2025-26 school year. The team will host an open house on Tuesday, May 6 from 6 to 7 PM at JMS. Students and their parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet the team, learn about the First Tech Challenge competition, see how the robot works, and complete an application to join.
